Ranking Factors
Every contractor on FoundationFixHub is scored across five key factors. Each factor is weighted to reflect what matters most to homeowners making a foundation repair decision.
Customer Reviews
High WeightAggregated ratings from Google, BBB, and other verified review platforms. We look at both the average score and the volume of reviews.
Licensing & Insurance
High WeightVerified state and local licenses, general liability insurance, and workers' compensation coverage. Unlicensed contractors are not listed.
Response Time
Medium WeightHow quickly a contractor responds to quote requests and inquiries. Faster response times indicate better customer service.
Warranty Coverage
Medium WeightThe type and length of warranty offered. Lifetime transferable warranties score highest, followed by limited lifetime and fixed-term warranties.
Years in Business
Lower WeightLongevity in the industry. While newer companies can be excellent, established businesses have a longer track record to evaluate.
Paid Placement Disclosure
Honesty first: Contractors who are paid members of FoundationFixHub may receive priority placement in search results and city pages. However, paid membership does not affect a contractor's rating or score. Ratings are calculated independently using the factors described above.
Paid listings are always labeled so you know which contractors are featured partners and which appear based on organic ranking alone.
Data Sources
Our rankings are built from publicly available data including state licensing databases, Google Business Profiles, Better Business Bureau records, and direct information submitted by contractors. We cross-reference multiple sources to ensure accuracy.
Update Frequency
Contractor profiles and rankings are reviewed and updated on a regular basis. Review scores are refreshed monthly, licensing status is verified quarterly, and contractors can update their own profile information at any time through their dashboard.
Our Independence
FoundationFixHub is an independent platform. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or financially tied to any foundation repair company. Our revenue comes from contractor subscriptions and lead generation — never from manipulating rankings. Our editorial and ranking processes are completely separate from our business relationships.
